N.M.N. Urban forest patch is a half-acre forest patch located behind 1041 E Northern Parkway in North Central Baltimore.

N.M.N. Urban forest patch is a half-acre forest patch located behind 1041 E Northern Parkway in North Central Baltimore.  It is a tiny triangle wedged between 3 alleys, running adjacent to Northern Parkway, Marlau Drive and Northwood Drive, which is where the name N.M.N originated.

The forest contains all native trees, but these trees are threatened by invasive vines. There is a large effort to remove these vines by community leaders with help from volunteers around the city, to restore the forest to being the community asset it once was.

For more information about opportunities to explore the forest or volunteer, please contact the Eric Fishel at 410-657-5117 or e-mail [email protected].
