Barclay Oliver Garden

Barclay Oliver Garden is located at 400-404 E Oliver Street.

Barclay Oliver Garden, also known as “The BOG” was founded in 2012 by a group of neighbors and artists from Oliver Street, intent on establishing a community garden of raised beds for growing flowers, herbs, and vegetables for personal use. Over time, the BOG has transitioned from raised beds into an inviting green sanctuary bordered by trees, perennials, and murals in the heart of the active urban arts neighborhood. The site supports quiet retreats for individuals and groups, the opportunity to observe pollinators and native plants, and is also a safe place for children to explore and play. In partnership with the Greenmount West Community Association (GWCA), the BOG is now a host site for community “Stoop Nights” when neighbors meet and learn more about the neighborhood. You can visit the BOG at 400-404 E. Oliver Street.
